Personnel changes on the Board of Trustees

The composition of the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland) will be changing with effect from March 1, 2022.

Joachim Oechslin will succeed Philip Hess as the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Joachim Oechslin has been a member of the Board of Trustees as an employer representative since April 2021.

In addition, Ina Hasdenteufel and Claude Täschler have been appointed to the Board of Trustees as new employer representatives by the Executive Board of Credit Suisse Group. Ina Hasdenteufel will replace Philip Hess, and Claude Täschler will replace Christian Machate.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the two departing members of the Board of Trustees for their many years of service.

Philip Hess chaired the Board of Trustees for more than 20 years and has had a significant impact on the Pension Fund during his term of office. Christian Machate has shown great commitment to the Board of Trustees, which has benefited from his expertise for almost 14 years. We would like to thank both members for their contribution.

We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Ina Hasdenteufel and Claude Täschler to the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund.

Duties of the Board of Trustees

As the highest governing body, the Board of Trustees manages and supervises the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland). It defines the overall strategy of the Pension Fund and monitors its implementation. During their four years in office, the members of the Board of Trustees dedicate themselves in particular to the areas of pension provision, investment of assets, risk management, and organization of the Pension Fund. The 12-person board appoints the management, the pensions actuary and the independent auditors, while also designating the members of the various Pension Fund committees.
