The pension fund's situation improved significantly in 2017. The coverage ratio now stands at 114% compared with 109% at the end of 2016. This figure already includes all future retirement losses. The positive trend is largely due to the very strong performance of our investment portfolio.

The primary goal of the Board of Trustees is to maintain the financial stability of the Pension Fund sustainably and for the long term. Special attention is paid to the fluctuation reserve which is to be maintained and expanded. The target fluctuation reserves will be reached at a coverage ratio of 116%.
