Interest rate for the Pension Fund in 2022

The interest rate for Pension Fund assets is 5% for 2022.

The Board of Trustees has set the interest rate on pension capital savings at 5% for 2022. At the same time, it defined a prospective interest rate of 2% for 2023. The prospective interest rate determines the intrayear interest on Pension Fund assets.

At the end of 2022, the funding ratio of the Pension Fund remained at 128%, the same high level as in 2021. The positive effect from higher interest rates broadly balances out the investment result (-6.01% as of end of November) resulting from the difficult market environment.

The Pension Fund has a high level of financial stability and is well positioned to handle future challenges. The Board of Trustees continues to view financial security as being of strategic importance.
