Change to the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund as of July 2, 2024

Patrick Stolz is the new employer representative on the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund and Pension Fund 2 of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland).

Patrick Stolz replaces Claude Täschler, who has served as a member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Compensation and Promotion Committee since March 2022.

Patrick Stolz has a degree in economics from the University of Bern and has worked at UBS for almost 30 years. He has held various management functions within HR since 2007, and since 2016 has held the role of Head Human Resources Switzerland. Patrick is also involved in several associations that aim to strengthen Switzerland's position as a financial center.

We are greatly indebted to Claude Täschler for his significant contribution to the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund. He has worked with passion to guide and shape the future of the Board of Trustees through some challenging times, and he is now leaving his post to enter retirement. Particularly, in his role as Chair of the Compensation and Promotion Committee Claude played a significant role in the development of various processes and governance structures.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to Claude for the immense commitment he has shown and wish him all the best for the future.

We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Patrick Stolz to the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund.

Duties of the Board of Trustees

As the highest governing body, the Board of Trustees manages and supervises the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland). It defines the overall strategy of the Pension Fund and monitors its implementation. During their four years in office, the members of the Board of Trustees dedicate themselves in particular to the areas of pension provision, investment of assets, risk management, and organization of the Pension Fund. The 12-person board appoints the management, the pensions actuary and the independent auditors, while also designating the members of the various Pension Fund committees.
