Change to the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund

Following the departure of Jean-Noël Granges from the Board of Trustees, Mr. Stéphane Che will replace him on the Board of Trustees of Pension Fund 1 and Pension Fund 2. Stéphane Che is a portfolio manager for institutional clients in Geneva. He will take up office on August 1, 2019.

Stéphane Che joined Clariden Leu in 2010 as an investment advisor and portfolio manager. During his time at Credit Suisse, he had the opportunity to work in Zurich and Singapore, before moving into his current role as portfolio manager for institutional clients in Geneva. He works for Balanced Solutions, an entity of Credit Suisse Asset Management AG. Having qualified as CFA, CAIA, and US CPA and amassed long-standing experience, he is ideally equipped to make a positive contribution to the Board of Trustees.

Philip Hess, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, is delighted with the incoming member Stéphane Che: "Stéphane Che's long-standing experience is a strong addition to the Board's expertise. I am grateful that Stéphane has agreed to take on this important role. The Pension Fund will undoubtedly benefit from this strengthening of the Board of Trustees. At the same time, I would like to thank Stéphane Che's predecessor, Jean-Noël Granges, for his many years of dedicated service to the Board of Trustees."

Duties of the Board of Trustees
As the highest governing body, the Board of Trustees manages and supervises the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland). It defines the overall strategy of the Pension Fund and monitors its implementation. During their four years in office, the members of the Board of Trustees dedicate themselves in particular to the areas of pension provision, investment of assets, risk management, and organization of the Pension Fund. The 12-person board appoints the management, the pensions actuary and the independent auditors, while also designating the members of the various Pension Fund committees.
