2020 Annual Report of the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland)

Against the backdrop of a difficult market environment, the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland) achieved a performance of 6.2% as of the end of 2020 (previous year 11.3%). There was a marked increase in the coverage ratio from 116.4% to 120.5%. The total assets of the Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland) increased by CHF 0.1 billion to CHF 18 billion.

Following two years of preparation, the 1e retirement capital savings plan was introduced on January 1, 2020, with 9,135 insured participants. By the end of the reporting year, total assets increased to CHF 568 million as a result of growth in the number of participants and in contributions paid.

As of the end of December 2020, 17,893 active employees were insured with the Pension Fund, which is 157 more than the previous year. The number of pension recipients decreased slightly by 197 to 11,030.
